United States Navy Reserve SharePoint 2007 Authentication Component

I was tasked to develop an extensive forms based authentication component for the COMNAVRESFORCOM SharePoint 2007 portal and associated ASP.Net web applications, which could processes logins and account creation for over 75K+ reservists. The component had to support CAC (Common Access Card) authentication, RSA token authentication, as well as a username and password. When completed, the authentication component could be customized to verify users against any user store (i.e. Active Directory or SQL Server).
